These lockers are under constant video surveillance. With that said, we make no assurance and accept no liability with any loss or damage that may come as a result of this. Please Contact Us immediately so that we are able to deal with the situation. We ask that no guest takes it on themselves to deal with these issues. Gryd Gaming staff will resolve any issue immediately and make sure that these individuals are removed (and possibly banned) from the venue entirely.
With the permission of Gryd Gaming this may be possible but we do ask that you only photograph/film yourself and your friends, and ask that anyone else who would be in the content that it's ok with them. Please do not just assume that it's ok without asking first. Please visit the Terms and Conditions page to read more about this.
We ask that you talk to us briefly first, but generally yes you may as long as you are respectful to staff and other guests within the venue. We may ask that you sign a waiver under some commercial situations.

No. There's no drinking allowed outside the venue. That includes outside the lift foyer door on the ground floor, in the lift, on the ramp, and in the courtyard. This is to help facilitate a healthy environment for all businesses that occupy the building and the surrounding area.
Again no. Under both the Smoke-free Environment Act 2000, and the Strata Schemes Management Act 2015 it's an offence to smoke within 4 metres of entrances and exists to public buildings. Yes. But we do a venue lockout at 11:30pm. So you need to have pre-booked and paid online to be granted access by staff. We will not accept walk-ins after 11:30pm. The same entry fee applies regardless of how little time you spend in the space.
Please see the Terms and Conditions to understand the refund policy of the venue. The blanket policy does not always apply but please understand we do have staff to pay. If you feel you may not show up, then it may be best to not reserve your access, and simply pay on arrival.
We’re sorry you’re unhappy about something, but we absolutely undersstand even with the best of intentions things happen. We’d be happy to organise a meeting with you or discuss this with you directly. Please contact us.
Yes, your entry is entry for the whole period defined by your ticket. Typically it’s entry for 1x 8-hour block of time starting and ending at specific times. Please see opening hours for a detailed list of bracketed times we are open.
No. We specifically ask that you use the provided accounts on our console machines. This keeps things very simple for people, and doesn’t leave any uncertainty about other people’s accounts being retained or the staff needing to setup the console again.
No. We may offer this at a later stage, but because these platforms are non-commital, we strongly suggest you create your own accounts so you have your own stats and own access at other venues. It’s very simple, and very safe to create your own Steam/Epic accounts and they have various free-to-play games, many of which are played by millions of people globally and quite a few are pre-installed. These games will automatically show up as being installed and playable. Think Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, Fortnite, Team Fortress 2, Destiny 2, Valorant, Rocket League, Dauntless, Fall Guys, Path of Exile, and many more.
There are situations where not everything works together nicely. We aim to have as much available to people with as little hassle as possible, but we can’t guarantee that everything will play the way it’s intended.
Some things may not play as well as it does in your own private setup at home. We fully appreciate that we don’t have the ultimate hardware, but we do strive to continue to improve the opportunity for players to enjoy more and better things at higher fidelity as time goes on. We are confident though that you’ll find something you’d like to play at our venue. Please see our Games List to help find what works for you.
Head over to our events page to see events are coming.
Yes. Part of providing the discount on the membership is that the money is paid upfront.
Generally the best way to manage costs if you plan to be at the venue 3 or more times a month regularly is through membership tiers. The more you’re going to be there, the more higher tier memberships make sense through discounts.
You can reserve PCs for a cost, but you don't need to reserve them if they're available. But to guarantee your place on the LAN on busy nights, you may need to reserve it at a cost.
No. We are expressly a non-gambling venue. That includes informal gambling amongst friends. It’s something that we do not, and legally cannot accept in our venue.
As part of offering further discounts across these memberships we ask for the payment upfront for the entire year. For a reduced lock-in period there are monthly memberships available. Please visit our pricing page.
We consider the discounts and benefits across those membership types significant, and with that we ask you honour that monthly cost for a set period of time.
Yes, and no. We do build all our own gaming PCs from parts we consider quality, and have the experience to back up those views. We are happy to give you advice and assist in your PC builds free of charge. With that said there are better more focused businesses locally who are happy to sell you PCs as a product and support under full warranty. We will happily make recommendations of businesses to you.
Possibly. It really depends on if we can showcase it or not.
In part yes. We will showcase items for businesses and individuals from time to time under a bailment arrangement. All discussions on the sale of an item will be directed to you as the bailor, with zero commission owing to us and have zero involvement in the negotiation of sale. If you'd like to discuss this with us, please get in touch.
At this stage, no. Possibly in the future we will but it's not currently part of our short-term plans.
We appreciate the support for our business. As for escrow, no. We don't have an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) under this business. We may in the medium-term offer you the benefit of using our platform to sell items, but we will only manage the workflow connecting to third-party escrow services, not the escrow service itself. We can make recommendations of local and online services to you, those who hold the relevant licenses or trust-account status under law, ie under ASIC guide 133 (Custodial/Depository Services) or solicitors.
Yes you'll notice that both here on the website and in the physical venue there are some elements of generative AI. The few prints in the venue and
We will add the ability to add your own avatar soon as we add out other features that simply weren't ready for delivery at this stage.
Talk to us at reception, we'll provide the darts, you provide the skills, just make sure the room is available first. And if in doubt, book the room for a few hours.
No. Just use them as with everything in the venue, if you want to make sure you'll have access reserving it is a good way to go.
Yes, for now we are 18+ only for general entry. We periodically run competitions for various games which many will be open to either 13+ or 15+ teenagers also. These are likely to be held on Saturday starting at 10am, possibly running into the night in a designated area, and also on Sundays from 10am to 8pm. Please see individual events for when these come up to enter the comp.
Call us and let us know as soon as you realise, we'll store it securely and you can pick it up before closing, or at your earliest convenience.
Yes. To simplify payments, we have made the decision to include transaction fees within the pricing model. That means you can always be confident the price we say is the amount that you pay within hidden charges.
We've kept the pricing simple, and made it as transparent as possible. The more you use the venue in a consistent monthly fashion the more you will benefit from higher priced monthly tiers.
Technically yes. We will happily process it that way. But we prefer if you purchase it online. We don't accept cash transactions, and we include processing fees in our advertised pricing. So there's no disadvantage in making the purchase online.
Look for the number of the product you want to purchase. Enter that number into the panel on the right hand side to make your selection. Provide your card for payment when asked to do so. And grab your happy snacks from the drawer at the bottom when they drop.
